The GENTECH Scholarship

The GENTECH Scholarship is a grant awarded to a student with a project combining genealogy and technology. The purpose of this program is to identify young potential speakers and expose them to a national conference twice.

This program operates through cooperation among GENTECH, Ancestry.com, Genealogy.com, and the Family History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Scholars receive a portion of the grant when the award is announced. They present an update at the TECH SESSIONS of the following GENTECH Conference, and receive the balance of the grant at the GENTECH BANQUET the next evening.

In 2001, two scholarships were awarded:
